Last season letting her go was tough. I watched as they prepared to put the boat before her in the sling and take her out of the water. Then it was our turn. I couldnít quite let her go so I rode her as she was lifted from the water. A view Iíd not had before. Finally, I was told I had to leave. It was hard. I took lots of pictures as they took her down to her winter resting place, a lump in my throat.

Itís now spring again and everything is coming alive again. The air is crisp and clean. The rains are washing away the gloom of winter. Spring will bring with it a renewal and the beginning of boating days.
